This OEM coolant filter element is commonly used on several UP6 and IRN Nirvana Ingersoll Rand rotary screw compressors in the 20hp thru 50hp range. Ingersoll Rand recommends changing the oil filter element every 2,000 hours or once per year. The oil filter removes particles and debris from the compressor oil before being sent back into the compression process. Changing the oil filter element will prolong the life of your compressor by ensuring clean oil is sent to the airend and oil cooler.
