Air-motors

AVISTA LLC designs and manufactures a wide range of AZ-RV003, AZ-RV005, AZ-RV009, AZ-RV015, AZ-RV040, AZ-RV050 series air motors constantly improving air motor construction, their quality and meeting customers’ needs. More than 70% of manufactured air motors are being exported to international markets and countries as the USA, France, Japan, Great Britain, Germany.

Due to their operating characteristics AZ-RV Air motors have a number of advantages and a wide range of application. More often they replace electric motors especially where operating conditions are highly explosive and with high humidity. Frequently they are used as ventilation drive at explosion and fire hazardous manufacture. For example, it may be spray cabinet ventilation, mine ventilation.

They have low fire hazard and are used as drives for paint shop mechanisms. Different paints are mixed with their help and there is no need to be concerned about fire risks. Air motors have also found an application in transport as starters. For example, an air-motor with an actuator and receiver is installed on city buses instead of starters, it lets turn off motor at bus stops saving fuel, increasing motor and accumulator life-time.

Mixers are widely used for mixing dyes and other liquids in chemical and electronic industries

Air motors manufactured by AVISTA LLC are environmentally clean, they don’t need supply of lubricant to compressed air and they are very reliable. Air-motor power ranges from 0,3hp to 5 hp (it can be seen from the last three figures of the code). All vane type air-motors consist of five main components, they are front and rear caps, stator, rotor and vanes, air-motors have constructional features which improve their technical characteristics. Vanes are pressed to stator side to guarantee startup at any air-motor positions. In AZ-RV003 model it is done with the help of floating rotor rings placed under lower part of the vane. In other models of the series two cylindrical springs are used, they are in directing bushes which press vane butt end.

Air motor features:
  • Explosion and fire safety
  • Rate regulation
  • No need to cool during operation
  • Quick reverse
  • Small weight and dimensions
  • Efficiency preservation at long overloading
  • Starts without jerks
  • Assembly flexibility
  • Operation at any position
  • Minimum technical service
  • Long life-time
  • Possible kitting with tachometer
  • Possibility to use in mixers
  • Kitting with redactor
Advantages of stainless steel air motors:
  • Radial venting
  • Higher power in comparison with base model
  • Operation without lubricant supply
  • All parts are made of stainless steel
